About the team
Stripe's Platform Sales team works with B2B software platforms to help them facilitate payments for their customers using Stripe Connect. Our users are software businesses who serve other businesses — platforms like Shopify, Treatwell, Sage, and DesignMyNight already rely on Stripe to power their payments infrastructure.
As a key member of the Platforms team, you will manage and deepen relationships with a named account list while identifying new growth opportunities and finding ways Stripe can exceed expectations.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive (Grower), you will build partnerships between Stripe and the most innovative and fastest-growing software platforms in the world, helping them understand how Stripe's financial infrastructure can make payments a true competitive advantage for their businesses.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and develop a named account list, building account plans to win and expand business with upper middle market and enterprise SaaS platform companies
- Build and maintain key relationships with C-level executives, orchestrating the right executive touchpoints throughout the sales cycle
- Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for upper middle market and enterprise accounts
- Work with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Finance to lead complex product workshops and financial analyses
- Craft and lead complex, bespoke commercial and contractual negotiations
- Contribute to shaping our platform partnership strategy and building repeatable processes and scaled engagement models
- Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
- Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help shape product strategy
