You will support engineering activities related to aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and simulation of rotorcraft, including: the analysis and assessment of stability and control, and flying qualities.You will develop plans to collect information and data related to flying qualities and flight dynamics for offline simulations, real-time piloted simulations and flight test activities.You will review plans and results of wind tunnel, simulation and flight test development and demonstration programs, as well as the engineering data submittalrequirements to support acquisition milestones.You will propose and evaluate flight dynamics studies and assessments, monitor program progress and evaluate risk associated with schedule delays, specification compliance issues, and performance or technical anomalies.You will demonstrate knowledge and good understanding of related air vehicle engineering fields such as flight controls, performance and aerodynamics, modeling and simulation, and flight testing.You will be responsible for rotorcraft safety of flight matters for flight dynamics and related aerodynamics, including stability and control, where applicable.You will ensure minimum safety standards are satisfied prior to providing flight clearance authorization for your responsible aircraft platforms.
