Agentic AI Developer

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Agentic AI Application Developer to join our team. This is a full-time remote opportunity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and deploy Agentic AI and Human-AI Teaming capabilities to support the AFCEC Cost Estimation PoC
• Design and build AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and executing complex, multi-step tasks with minimal human intervention
• Integrate AI models with real-world tools, external APIs, and sophisticated feedback loops
• Transform manual, high-variability workflows into highly efficient, predictive, agent-driven capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate secure AI solutions and reshape workflow efficiency
• Write, test, and maintain code for AI agents, ensuring high performance and reliability in a remote environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience
• 0+ years of entry-level experience
• Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software engineering principles
• Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development, such as Python
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and working with external data sources
• Understanding of prompt engineering and basic interactions with Large Language Models
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or experience
• 2+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience building or working with AI agents, chatbots, or autonomous
