A leading global trading and investment firm is hiring an AWS Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen its security posture across high-performance research and trading platforms.
You’ll be at the centre of securing and optimising AWS infrastructure - from IAM and SCP/RCP policy management through to encryption, automation, and real-time monitoring.
This role offers exposure to cutting-edge environments where technology, data, and security are mission-critical.
What you’ll do
- Implement and enhance AWS cloud security controls.
- Manage IAM frameworks and enforce least-privilege access.
- Deploy GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, and CloudTrail for proactive monitoring.
- Support encryption strategies (KMS) to safeguard sensitive data.
- Define and maintain AWS security baselines and compliance checks.
- Build automation frameworks using Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Strengthen cloud security operations via CSPM, CWNP, and ASPM methodologies.
- Partner with IT, risk, and leadership teams to align security with business goals.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years in cloud security, platform security, or DevSecOps.
- Strong AWS expertise, especially IAM, SCP, RCP, and security baselining.
- Hands-on with Terraform/CloudFormation and Python scripting.
- Familiarity with cloud security operations tooling (CSPM/CWNP/ASPM).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A growth mindset with eagerness to expand in cloud security.
