Remote role based in the US. Candidates must be physically located within the US.
Job Description
The BI Consultant plays a critical role in managing reporting tasks, analyzing data for meaningful trends, and consults with clients on efficient use of various BI tools. They work independently to optimize reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and identify opportunities for business growth. They take on a more strategic role in business development by identifying and nurturing leads, refining proposals, and optimizing the quoting process for BI solutions. They stay up to date on industry trends and collaborate with leadership on new BI product and service development to strengthen client relationships and drive lead generation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope reporting solutions across a variety of NIQ data sources (RMS, CPS, Omni).
- Independently manage reporting tasks and analyze data to understand trends and drive decision making.
- Partner with customers to set objectives that drive business impact and maximize client value, building and maintaining strong relationships and deep expertise with adaptability, urgency, and positivity.
- Consult with clients and stakeholders on BI tool usage for specific projects and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Independently identifies and nurtures leads for BI and NIQ solutions, performing needs assessments, handling objections and creating tailored proposals.
- Optimize and enhance reporting solutions and collaborate with leadership on new BI product and service development.
- Consult directly with clients and stakeholders on optimal use of BI tools and techniques to create impactful reporting.
- Work closely with BI and other cross-functional colleagues and leadership to assist in day-to-day BI customer support needs, deployment activities and transformation initiatives as assigned.
- Independently manage assigned projects.
- Participate in the development of a set of best-in-class examples.
- Actively engage in continued learning and development to upskill yourself, our team and advance our core areas of BI and analytics expertise.

Qualifications
- 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Micro Strategy or similar.
- Experience working with AI Productivity tools (Copilot, Chat, Claude, etc.)
- Experience working with Microsoft Offic
