Department Description
Allica exists to serve established small and medium‑sized businesses, typically those with between 5 and 250 employees – that are often underserved by traditional high‑street banks. The bank combines relationship‑led banking with modern digital technology to provide a more responsive, personal service for business owners and intermediaries.

Role Description
To support the delivery of the Bank’s Introducer strategy by providing a high‑quality, professional relationship management service to commercial finance brokers, prospective customers and existing customers.
The role is responsible for the origination and delivery of commercial mortgage lending, ensuring consistently high service standards, building strong broker relationships, and the maximisation of value through disciplined execution, collaboration and customer‑focused outcomes.
Principal Accountabilities
Building and relationship managing a portfolio/panel of commercial finance Introducers in the West Midlands region, with responsibility for day-to-day management of the relationships.
Reviewing, encouraging, managing, and progressing applications from Introducers from initial enquiry through to completion.
Owning the customer service to always ensure excellent service for Introducers, prospective customers, and existing customers.
Work closely and collaboratively with all areas of the Bank to ensure a seamless and professional service is always provided.
Promoting the Banks culture and values.
Supporting lending applications in line with Allica’s Credit Policy and Credit Appetite.
Compliance with all mandatory policies.
Being a positive contributor to Allica’s culture, and always promoting our values of In It Together, Lead by Example, Need for Speed, Straight Bat, Own It.
Complying with all mandatory policies, and adherence to operational procedures to maintain internal controls.
Establishing and actively managing objectives and a personal development plan.
Deliver territory Business Plan and targeted lending volumes.
Personal Attributes & Experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills together
Evidence of proven career progression gained in business development via the commercial mortgage broker market and in commercial property lending.
Sound knowledge of the commercial finance Introducer market, commercial property lending and banking products associated with SME businesses.
Ability to work with Introducers and customers to structure new commercial mortgage lending proposals and write credit applications.
Proven track record in providing excellent customer service and in generating lending income opportunities whilst effectively managing credit risk.
