The Difference You Will Make:

Airbnb is seeking a collaborative and pragmatic attorney with substantial experience specializing in trademark and copyright legal practice. This role will report to the Lead Counsel for trademark, brand protection, copyright, and domain names, and will work on the full spectrum of issues managed by this team.

A Typical Day:

  • Handle escalated notice & takedown cases related to user-generated content on the Airbnb platform; proactively manage risk, identify patterns and opportunities to improve workflows, and support the team through quality control, training, and process development
  • Manage ongoing prosecution and maintenance of global trademark, domain name, and copyright portfolios for Airbnb, HotelTonight, and other acquired brands
  • Manage a docket of trademark enforcement and IP dispute matters, including corresponding directly with third parties using our marks improperly and negotiating resolutions of trademark disputes
