
Creative Director, Brand Marketing

Chime is seeking an experienced Creative Director to develop brand-defining campaigns. This role will be responsible for shaping the creative vision, crafting captivating narratives, and executing innovative marketing strategies across various channels, including TV, social activations, brand partnerships, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative agency work, a proven track record of delivering impactful campaigns, and the ability to lead a talented team of art directors, designers, and copywriters.
This individual should be comfortable pitching bold, top-of-funnel brand campaigns while also understanding the importance and role of the full marketing funnel. They should be able to develop creative ideas that build awareness, drive consideration, and support conversion, ensuring campaigns are not only culturally resonant and brand-defining, but also strategically connected to business objectives across every stage of the customer journey.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $201,000.00 and up to $279,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Create a vision for the Chime brand that translates into powerful and authentic storytelling that drives awareness/consideration
- Develop and execute a creative vision for what our brand looks and feels like through integrated marketing campaigns, TV, activations, social campaigns, and partnerships across all channels.
- Champion bold ideas and creative approaches to telling Chime’s stories and more deeply connecting with Chime’s members
- Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept development to final execution, ensuring alignment with the company's brand values and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing leads to create integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of art directors, designers and copywriters, fostering an environment of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions, providing clear guidance, feedback, and inspiration to generate impactful ideas.
- Manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and media partners to ensure high-quality execution of campaigns.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our creative work is fresh and relevant.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our consumer base, market trends, and competitor landscape to inform creative strategies.
