Overview
Responsible for creating, validating, and maintaining customer master data in the ERP system. Ensure customer accounts are accurately set up, required documentation and D&B reports are reviewed, and records remain current, complete, and compliant to support billing, credit, reporting, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain customer master records in the ERP system.
- Review setup requests, approvals, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Verify customer information using D&B reports, including legal name, address, DUNS number, credit details, and business status.
- Maintain billing, shipping, tax, contact, payment term, credit limit, invoice delivery, and account classification details.
- Identify and correct duplicate, incomplete, inactive, or outdated customer records.
- Resolve data discrepancies with sales, customer service, credit, collections, billing, and other teams.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for customer setups, changes, deactivations, merges, and cleanup.
- Protect confidential information and support accurate billing, credit, reporting, order processing, controls, and audit readiness.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, accounting, finance, data management, or related field preferred.
- Experience with customer master data, AR, credit, billing, customer onboarding, or ERP data entry preferred.
- ERP experience and familiarity with D&B reports, credit review, business verification, or customer setup processes a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to enter, review, research, and maintain accurate data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong organization, communication, problem-solving, confidentiality, and time-management skills.
