
Cybersecurity Exercise Team Lead
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security AgencyThis announcement is issued under the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need. Selectee(s) will receive a career or career-conditional appointment in the competitive service and may be required to serve a one year probationary period. The official title of this position is IT Cybersecurity Specialist (INFOSEC), GS-2210-13.Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Applying Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program principles in the planning and conduct of cybersecurity exercises related to the security and resilience of critical infrastructure. Publishing after action reviews, presenting technical information to nontechnical audiences, and presenting data in creative formats. Raising awareness and improving coordination with federal, state, local, tribal. and territorial (SLTT), private sector, and international partners on gaps in cyber management practices and recommended process improvements. Understanding of the statutory roles,responsibilities, and authorities of the various federal department and agencies particularly as they relate to cybersecurity and infrastructure security. Providing assistance in guiding exercise design and delivery, including control or facilitation of routine exercises. Planning and executing discussion and operation-based exercises, including seminars, workshop games, drills, tabletop functional and full-scale exercises. Developing and maintaining exercise support products and services, such as CISA Tabletop Exercise Packages. Assisting in writing memos, speeches, talking points, briefings, and other correspondence for senior federal, departmental, and agency leadership.
