At Figma, we're building a vibrant community where designers and product builders come together to learn, grow, and connect around their shared passion. Our Advocacy team is central to this mission—empowering our users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy.
We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.
This is a full time role based at our San Francisco Hub. Must be comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time to connect with our community in person.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Empower users at scale: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows
- Create compelling content: Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems
- Inspire community connections: Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives
- Speak and engage at events: Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work
- Champion user voices: Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends—advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Figma and demonstrated experience integrating it within real product teams and modern product development environments, collaborating closely with engineers and cross-functional partners
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving workflows, including design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping
