United States Army Installation Management CommandThis is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year-round including surfing, fishing, and hiking.Performs as Electrical Engineer as defined by directives and policies, for electrical engineering related construction projects.Prepares criteria, scopes of work, prepares engineered designs, plans, specifications and final construction cost estimates.Evaluates project data to insure that completed construction will provide a properly operating facility with a minimum of operational and maintenance cost, and verifies incorporation of proven design criteria.Responsible to provide technical staff assistance, guidance and surveillance on all electrical engineering aspects for Directorate of Public Works programs.
