Serve as the electrical engineering technical expert, consultant and advisor for the application of US and Host Nation criteria, codes and standards.Design and/or review the entire range of military construction projects in his/her discipline / functional area.Ensure that customers get maximum value and that design and engineering problems are resolved.Resolves design and/or construction problems of a critical or controversial nature.Review and/or evaluate work for quality, timeliness and cost and initiates action for improvement.Develop new approaches or methods for design and construction for cost savings through value engineering.Provide advice concerning technical matters and on particularly complex problems where policy or relationships with outside agencies are involved.Conduct design reviews for electrical and comms infrastructure at all submittal levels to ensure cybersecurity features described in the related UFC is included in the designs.
