About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
We build and operate Stripe's Event Infrastructure—the reliable, low-latency backbone that captures, routes, and persists billions of events daily. We design resilient, scalable systems for real-time ingestion, filtering, transformation, and high-throughput delivery to downstream consumers. We prioritize observability, backpressure control, and graceful degradation to keep payments and platform features running under any load. By automating operations and iterating on capacity and cost optimizations, we enable product teams to build on a predictable event-streaming foundation.

• Drive Operational Excellence—You'll instill a culture of rigorous thinking and meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring our infrastructure remains proactive and resilient as Stripe's business demands evolve
• Bridge Engineering and Business—You'll collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align deep engineering needs with global business growth forecasts
