ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

About the Position: Lyster Army Health Clinic in Fort Rucker, AL. Work is performed in offices, mechanical rooms, construction sites, and clinical areas. Business hours are 0730-1615. After hours and/or emergency response may be required. This is a Direct Hire SolicitationAnalyze, test, balance, and replace projects for all facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Provide oversight of facility operational readiness.Initiate replacement projects for critical real property systems.Screen medical equipment requests to determine utility compatibility and to plan infrastructure upgrades.Advise on facility concerns and identify complex engineering technical issues, elevating to Engineer, when needed.Write statement of work and prepare packages for validation.Develop and provide detailed budgetary data to support long-range planning and maintenance activities.
