
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems CommandYou will serve as an Environmental Engineer in the Environmental (EV) Business Line, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAFAC) Southeast.You will review engineering and design projects to ensure environmental standards are met.You will prepare scopes of work, government estimates, board reports, project schedules, and other documents to execute and administer the contract(s) in the petroleum tank compliance program area.You will gather data and prepare reports to prevent pollution by informing management of environmental compliance problems.You will provide technical expertise in petroleum storage tank and spill preparedness, controls and countermeasures compliance issues, policies, and regulations to promote compliance with environmental laws and regulations.You will develop solutions to environmental problems that will enable customers to meet their compliancerequirements.You will review and comment on the contractor submittals, monitors progress, review contractor payments, prepare contractor evaluations and recommend final acceptance of reports and other submittals required by the contract(s).
