Freelance Copywriter (m/f/d) French

We're looking for a seasoned freelance native-French Copywriter to support our marketing and brand efforts as we launch in the French market. This role blends creative storytelling and writing with content execution and localization—ensuring the delivery of compelling, high-quality, and compliant content across channels from day one.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Develop high-impact content for brand, product, marketing, and performance channels, and use generative AI tools where it supports the process
- Localize content using tools like Smartly or other basic video editing tools/CMS
- Conceptualize and write conversion-optimized ads and landing pages for the French market
- Create and pitch concept ideas, messaging frameworks, and story-driven concepts
- Take ownership of content projects, including timeline planning, coordination with stakeholders, and delivery tracking
- Manage and maintain content and assets
- Collaborate with design, growth, and product marketing teams to ensure consistency across touchpoints
- Ensure brand tone and messaging are aligned across platforms (website, email, social media, paid ads, etc.)
Requirements
Your Profile
- 3+ years of professional experience in content creation, copywriting, or editorial—ideally in digital or consumer-facing environments
- Strong conceptual and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for language and visuals
- Native-level French (written and spoken)
- Professional working proficiency in English (our internal working language)
- Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented
- Confident working with tools such as CMS, Figma, Teams, and project/content management platforms (e.g. Jira,
