
IB Analyst / Associate - Digital Infra & Telecoms - Selby Jennings

As an Analyst or Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of complex transactions and the origination of new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Transaction execution across M&A (buy-side and sell-side), capital raises, and strategic advisory mandates within the digital infrastructure and telecoms sectors.
- Financial modelling and valuation, including DCF, LBO, project finance, and trading/transaction comparables tailored to infrastructure-style assets.
- Preparation of marketing and pitch materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and board-level documents.
- Industry research and analysis, developing deep sector expertise across fibre, towers, data centres, and emerging digital infrastructure subsectors.
- Direct client interaction with sponsors, corporates, and institutional investors, supporting senior bankers in origination and relationship management.
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members (Associate level).
Candidate Profile
We are looking for high-calibre individuals with the following:
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, infrastructure advisory, project finance, or a closely related field (digital infra/telecoms exposure strongly preferred).
- Strong academic background from a top-tier university, ideally in finance, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and core valuation methodologies.
- Strong commercial awareness and genuine interest in the digital infrastructure and telecoms sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
