INTERDISCIPLINARY GENERAL
ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER) in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) of Southeast. This interdisciplinary position will be filled as a General Engineer (0801) or Architect (0808).You will serve as Senior Project Manager and technical advisor for all aspects of Project Management.You will be responsible for the project management features of work related to military construction projects, and coordinate and direct the work of others.You will render technical decisions/recommendations on situations, questions, and/or problems relating to scheduling, funding, project coordination, and contract interpretations which could affect the execution of the project.You will serve as focal point to supported commanders, higher echelon, and field offices, on information for projects assigned regarding status of individual projects, and review and act on correspondence concerning assigned projects.You will be responsible for tracking the progress of facility design to ensure execution remains within scope, within budget and on schedule.
