Typical work assignments include: Providing customer support in software operations and troubleshooting hardware/software problems daily. Installing, operating, and maintaining operating systems and applications software used on government computers. Evaluating and testing new government issued computers, peripherals, and software. Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral equipment for system users in accordance with organizational standards. Researching solutions for a wide variety of problems encountered by the user community.
