U.S. Marine CorpsYou will serve as a IT SPEC (APPSW) in the Programs and Resources Division of
HQ US MARINE
CORPS.You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining mainframe and/or web-based applications.You will perform application design, programming, and test work involving the full range of applications development activities for major software projects, such as prototype systems supporting an important agency line program.You will analyze work processes and operations to determine the feasibility of developing new programs or upgrading existing ones to improve the efficiency and productivity of business practicesYou will analyze technical specifications and translates them into integrated applications that automate business processes.You will update and modify existing applications and be responsible for continuous maintenance of automation programs.
