Performs a variety of specific duties designed to develop knowledge and skill in applying IT specialist principles, methods and techniques. Performs a variety of specific duties designed to develop knowledge and skill in applying program managementresponsibilities in support of systems acquisition. Participates in the development of management information systems (MIS) in support of customer needs. Carries out special projects designed to facilitate the full use of the intern's training and development. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain currency in the field and for application to work assignments. GS-09 Participates in the planning andrequirements determination process for Cyberspace and Information Technology (CIT) systems projects. Participates in program managementresponsibilities in support of systems acquisition initiatives. Performs management information system (MIS) assignments in support of customer needs. Carries out special projects designed to facilitate the full use of the intern's training and development. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain currency in the field and for application to work assignments. *This is a formal AF intern position in the Recent Palace Acquire Program (PAQ) and as such, it is centrally funded by HQ AFPC/DPZS.
