U.S. Marine CorpsYou will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT) in the G6 Department Marine Corps Installations of
MARINE CORPS
BASE.You will provide customer service and technical assistance to organizations and personnel supporting the networks.You will practice proper customer service protocols while providing technical operation and maintenance assistance to users regarding their end-user equipment and software, workstation, laptops, fax machines, printers, scanners, and other equipment.You will install, upgrade and troubleshoot commercial-off-the shelf (COTS) and Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) applications on the command's networked workstations with little to no technical guidance.You will install network operating systems, network protocols, interface cables, RJ45s, RS232s and all software on networked or standalone computers.You will answer incoming calls for service providing technical trouble resolution for supported organization and enters the problem in a Troubleshooting Ticket System.You will remotely log into end user's computer and assists with setup, mapping drives or technical guidance.
