HOPPER GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS CENTER
in Suitland, MD. As a forward deployed Region Information System Security Manager (RISSM) for Information Assurance (IA), Information Security (IS),and Cyber Security, including Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) systems/networks, you will provide guidance, policies, and oversight for day-to-day security operations.You will facilitate programrequirements and objectives by providing guidance, policies, and oversight for the day-to-day security operations for command Information Assurance Managers (IAM).You will enforce and provide Information Security/Assurance and Cyber Security policies and directives for Navy and Marine Corps Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) customers.You will provide detailed reports on Information Assurancerequirements/compliance, security incidents/violations, and maintain applicable databases in accordance with policies and procedures.You will provide comprehensive Information Assurance Security and Incident Response training to personnel responsible for Sensitive Compartmented Information systems.You will assist with the Privilege User (PU) and Authorized-to-Operate (ATO) process by ensuring requests are properly submitted and processed in a timely manner.You will monitor daily Information System Security Manager-related database/queues such as Quick Media Requests (QMR) and provide status to the Hopper Information System Security Manager.
