About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 706th Military Intelligence Group, Installation and Logistics Office, located at Fort Gordon, GA.Serves as a Network Systems Engineer and Primary Communications Security (COMSEC) custodian within the Network Operations Division at the National Security Agency/Central Security Services – Georgia (NSAG).Supports the design, installation, and maintenance of network/telecommunications systems in support of a diverse customer set located at the NSAG operations facility and remote sites worldwide.Duties include IT/Communications planning, analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, monitoring, and management of network systems for the secure transmission of information.As the Primary COMSEC Custodian, responsible for the receipt, transfer, accountability, safeguarding, and destruction of all COMSEC material assigned to a

NSAG COMSEC

account.Primaryresponsibilities include assisting the NSAG lead COMSEC custodian with oversight of all Regional Capabilities Center Southeast (RCC-SE) daily operations.
