IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN)

Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT DUTY 1: Manages the acquisition, development, and implementation of new or modified information systems, subsystems, or equipment items to meet cost, schedule, performance, and supportability criteria. DUTY 2: Represents the organization at conferences and meetings and presents briefings. Leads and/or participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, working groups, committees or special IT projects. Analyzes areas of concern, identifies problems, and resolves conflicts through persuasive discussions with management and user representatives. DUTY 3: Execute the role of the AF DCGS East Coast Hub Local Data Center Manager. Serves in the lead management role of responsible for mission system data centers with support from the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Information System (IS), network and system engineers and civil engineering staff. DUTY 4: As a recognized expert, leads, provides technical guidance, advisory support and assistance on projects and/or major phases on contract activities and to functional users.
