Military Treatment Facilities under DHAAbout the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights-based return rights based on an overseas tour. This is a temporary appointment not-to-exceed 3 years. Term appointments may be extended up to up to 6 years.Develops, and coordinates in the design, management, utilization and operation of the automation environment and its associated data processing resources.Serves as liaison between contractor personnel, engineering staff, technical personnel within the IMD and as requiredPerforms system maintenance, including backup/restore, documentation, inventory logs, and message control systemsPerforms system tuning activities indicated by performance monitoring or as recommended by the supervisorAdvises and trains technical personnel on system applications, functionality, and updaterequirements
