We are recruiting for a Marketing Data & Insights Executive to join a leading luxury hospitality and leisure business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, analytical marketer who enjoys turning data into actionable insights. The role will focus primarily on marketing performance reporting, campaign analysis, customer insights and data-driven decision making, while also taking ownership of email marketing campaigns and supporting wider digital marketing activity.
The position is primarily remote, with travel to the Reading office approximately once per week with some occasional travel to other offices across the UK . A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
The Role
As Marketing Data & Insights Executive, you will play a key role in measuring, analysing and optimising marketing performance across multiple digital channels. You will produce regular reports, develop insightful dashboards and identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, customer engagement and return on investment.
Alongside the reporting and insights function, you will manage the group's email marketing programme, delivering engaging campaigns, monitoring performance and supporting the development of automated customer journeys and segmentation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the marketing reporting function, producing performance reports across all digital marketing channels
- Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for optimisation
- Provide actionable insights across website, CRM, email marketing, paid media and customer acquisition activity
- Monitor key performance metrics including traffic, conversions, engagement, lead generation and ROI
- Gather and interpret customer insight through surveys, feedback and CRM data to improve customer communications and marketing strategy
- Manage the execution of email marketing campaigns
- Monitor email campaign performance, continually testing and optimising subject lines, content, segmentation and automation journeys
- Manage the email marketing calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing and brand teams
- Work collaboratively with sales, membership and operational teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned with business objectives

- Experience within a digital marketing, marketing analytics or marketing insights role
- Strong experience producing marketing reports, analysing campaign performance and presenting actionable insights
- Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads and digital marketing metrics
- Experience using CRM and email marketing platforms (Brevo preferred, although similar platforms will be considered)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence using formulas, pivot tables and reporting tools
- Experience creating marketing dashboards and KPI reporting
- Understanding of customer segmentation, marketing automation and lifecycle marketing
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently within a remote environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
