
Operations Analyst
eFinancialCareersOur client is looking for an Operations, Data, and reconciliation support analyst. The incumbent will take ownership of the Investment Platform daily data issues, as well as help drive improvements in the use of the platform within the organisation.
Key Tasks:
- Data reconciliation of client / custodian data.
- Daily reconciliation of data issues against custodian information. This could be within custodian portals, email, daily reports etc.
- Correcting any data issues to ensure the morning processes can be completed.
- Communicating with internal professionals as well as external Custodians.
- Point person for daily data issues with the third-party investment system.
- Investigating processes around data quality and how the system can be used to improve.
- Strong understanding around investment client data and how to investigate possible issues impacting, valuations, cash, trade details.
- Strong understanding on a wide range of asset / instrument types and how they behave
- Exposure to fees and fund accounting.
- Oversight on MiFIR regulatory trade reporting.
- Ability to use system data and excel to help provide data to the investment team.
- Become a super user for internal portfolio management system.
