About the team
Stripe's People Systems Team sits at the intersection of technology and human experience. We are internal consultants who turn ambiguity into scale. Part of the People Solutions org, we partner with Corporate Technology, Finance, and the wider People team to build a world-class employee experience. We are a "strategy-first, quality-execution-always" team that values technical rigor, nimble problem-solving, and a deep empathy for the Stripes we serve.
The People Salesforce platform is at the heart of how we deliver and continuously improve the employee experience at Stripe—powering HR service delivery, case management, and the workflows that connect People teams to the people they support.
What you'll do
We are looking for a technically sharp and people-focused Platform Engineer to own, scale, and optimize our internal Salesforce platform. This role isn't just about administration—it's about architecting scalable, high-quality solutions that make the People team and the employees they support more effective every day.
You will be the primary technical owner of our People Salesforce org, balancing KLTO (Keep Lights On) operations with strategic platform improvements. You'll work closely with People Operations, People Solutions, GTMS, Corporate Technology, and vendor teams to ensure our Salesforce platform is well-governed, deeply integrated, and continuously improving.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between HR strategy and technical execution, ensuring our Salesforce environment is secure, highly automated, and seamlessly integrated with the rest of our tech stack (e.g., Slack).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable configurations and customizations within the Salesforce platform—serving as the technical anchor for our People Salesforce environment and balancing critical KLTO (Keep Lights On) operations with high-impact strategic projects
- Build robust, maintainable declarative solutions—including Advanced Flows and Approval Processes—and collaborate with developers on programmatic solutions (Apex, LWC) when the complexity of the requirement demands it • Own and optimize data pipelines and API integrations be
