The St. Cloud VA Health Care System is seeking an Assistant Medical Director of Specialty Clinics in St. Cloud, MN. The Assistant Medical Director is a department level management position that provides mentorship and leads competent, satisfied staff dedicated to providing high quality patient-centered care at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System through administrative leadership. The Assistant Medical Director of Specialty Clinics is responsible for the direct management and oversight of clinical and administrative operations within the Primary and Specialty Medicine (PSM) service line. Theseduties include supervision (directly or indirectly) of physicians and mid-level providers at the Health Care System and the affiliated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), coordination of work schedules and responsibility for clinical performance measures. The incumbent works closely with other leaders within the service line and facility to ensure optimization of resources in the care delivery model. Additionally, s/he participates in local administrative, management, quality assurance, and other assignments, meetings, or committees as necessary or assigned.
