in NORFOLK, Virginia.You will serve as a Program Analyst and be responsible for planning, analyzing and evaluating business processes and policies, and fulfill requests for information; complete data collection activities and complete broad research analysis related to program activities. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems to run reports and compile monthly data for multiple dashboard metrics. Developing Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPRs) in support of Other Government Activity (OGA) work and develops new business processes, metrics and reports as necessary. Initiating monthly burden charge FTAs totaling approximately $500K annually. Overseeing Open Obligation Validation Application (OOVA) for National Industrial Enterprise (NIE) and ensuring that units validate OOVA documents by the quarterly deadline. Routinely meeting with the Finance Center Industrial Accounting Branch to review data and IOD accounting practices/policies to ensure the NIE business practices and procedures remain in compliance with current directives. Providing on-site and remote training for incoming IOD personnel as needed. Assisting IOD Project Management Branch in understanding the intricate and complex nuances of creating industrial projects and work orders in the accounting system and managing them from cradle to grave. Serving as the IOD's resident subject matter expert for all accounting system issues. e., physical or mental), covered by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended that would interfere with completing the USA Hire Competency Based Assessments, you will be granted the opportunity to request a RA in your online application.
