⭐ Our Finance team
We are looking for a Project Manager on our Group Delivery Team to support the wider business with the implementation of key strategic initiatives such as running the Monzo-wide company goals process on a 6 month fixed term contract.
You will be responsible for defining business outcomes, translating this into scope that can be delivered through programme plans, and engaging stakeholders across Monzo to ensure scope is delivered within time, cost and quality parameters.
🔑 You’ll play a key role by…
- Leading from the front by being the key point of contact and bringing it all together for important projects, such as (not a full list):
- Scope - defining, breaking it down, getting buy-in and prioritisation
- Plans - baselining project plans, managing activity flow metrics, identifying critical path and dependencies, proactively resolve crunchpoints before they eventuate
- Budgets - allocating spend, forecasting and tracking actuals, proactively preventing over-spend and managing contingencies
- Benefits - ensure benefits are defined, quantifiable and are achieved
- Resourcing - secure resources (internal and external) - capacity and capability, virtual team management (values and culture, ways of working, feedback etc)
- Stakeholders and governance - ensure clear roles and responsibilities, early escalation, clear decision making and constructively holding stakeholders accountable for their activities
- Risks and issues - reactively and proactively manage risks and issues within risk and issue management framework and policies
- Produce regular reporting in an effective and efficient manner
- Share and implement best practice in project/program management, continuous improvement, right sizing efforts for Monzo’s context

- Experience delivering projects in financial services, particularly within risk and regulatory contexts.
- Skilled in managing cross-functional projects, juggling multiple workstreams, and balancing shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Multi-disciplined project delivery experience, including process change, product launches, systems implementations, and outsourcing.
