It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.Independently perform, with little or no supervision, installation access control for pedestrians and vehiclesValidate entry requests through the use of ePACS and grants access to persons and vehicles with appropriate authorizationsInitial point of contact for the installation’s visitors which may include foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media and VIPsRecord visitor information and purpose of visitGrant access to persons, denies entry or arranges for escorts, as appropriatePerform Visitor Control Center (VCC) dutiesScreen all employees, visitors, consultants, foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media representatives, VIPs and contractor personnel dailyServe as a member of the installation’s overall security response capability during actual or simulated incidentsRegulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and to ease congestion and parking problemsAssist in providing initial response and traffic control for vehicular accidents, which may include providing first aid, requesting appropriate emergency responses, securing the scene and identifying witnesses
