
Senior Front Office Technology Solutions Engineer - Asset Management
eFinancialCareersOur client, a leading global investment manager, are growing their European operation and are hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their dynamic investment technology team in London.
Focussed on fixed income, this is a senior (director level) role akin to a "distinguished engineer", working closely with portfolio managers, portfolio analysts, risk and quants, to understand current investment tooling and data challenges and then working closely with the delivery team to design and deliver new solutions.
Our client hosts a modern tech stack and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving future state investment solutions, enhancing productivity through automation, and will leverage Gen AI and ML techniques to drive efficiencies.
Key skills required for this role as follows:
- Extensive experience in the asset management industry, specifically within Fixed Income, and specifically within front office.
- Strong understanding of the investment process - portfolio construction, allocation and risk management.
- Analytical skills - to deep-dive into current tools and workflows.
- Software Engineering background - Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Next.js, React, AWS, in a microservices environment.
- Leadership skills in designing and delivering scalable technology solutions, and the mentoring of junior talent.
Our client is based in central London and works a hybrid model, 3 days per week on site.
