Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office.
We are looking for:
A Senior Manager, IT Platform Engineering to own the infrastructure, identity, and engineering programs that keep Oura's global workforce running at scale.
You will lead a technically excellent team responsible for enterprise identity (Okta, Lumos, Delinea), network infrastructure, endpoint engineering, remote access modernization, and Oura's Joiner/Mover/Leaver transformation — serving as the management layer above a senior engineering team, setting the tempo, owning delivery outcomes, and translating technical complexity into clear business direction for cross-functional leadership.
The right person brings real technical credibility that their team and vendors will recognize immediately. You contribute hands-on where your depth adds the most leverage — architecture reviews, identity design decisions, vendor technical validation — while spending the majority of your time on people, programs, and strategic leadership.
What you will do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior IT platform engineers — actively growing them toward informal domain ownership across Identity, Endpoint, and Security Engineering; own the full people management lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, career development, and succession
- Own delivery accountability across IT's major programs — identity maturation, PAM deployment, network-as-a-service delivery, and remote access modernization — not executing every task, but accountable for every outcome; partner with the Staff Engineer to sequence the technical roadmap and protect strategic programs from BAU erosion
- Own delivery relationships with key technology vendors and implementation partners — milestone accountability, performance governance, and risk escalation without requiring executive involvement
- Lead programs across Security, GRC, Legal, People, and Finance as a true business partner; translate complex technical risk into clear, actionable business language for executive stakeholders; influence without authority across functions
- Own the maturation of Oura's enterprise identity program end-to-end — PAM deployment, IGA governance, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver automation are organizational priorities; ensure delivery
