Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer

They are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill an immediate full-time remote Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer opening.
As the Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer, you will lead the design and development of next-generation patient care products - from concept through production - translating caregiver feedback, customer reviews, and competitive insights into profitable, manufacturable solutions with exceptional ergonomics, usability, and functional detail.

This is a Full-Time | Fully Remote position reporting to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design process from concept development to production-ready solutions, ensuring all designs go through rigorous DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis.
- Translate internal product briefs, caregiver feedback, VOC data, and customer reviews into innovative, user-centered product concepts.
- Apply deep materials knowledge to select the most suitable materials that balance aesthetic with structural durability and cost-efficiency.
- Create advanced CAD models and detailed technical design and engineering documentation, utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and structural simulations to validate mechanical integrity and performance before prototyping.
- Design and validate mockups, prototypes, and functional test samples.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, sourcing partners, and marketing to balance creativity with cost targets, supplier capabilities, and timelines.
