Office of Personnel ManagementAs an IT Specialist (Applications Software) with the US Office of Personnel Management, Products and Data Engineering Divisions, you will serve as a senior software engineer responsible for designing, developing, integrating, modernizing, and sustaining enterprise application systems and services that support OPM missionrequirements.Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise application software that supports mission-critical organizationalrequirements. Lead or support the software development lifecycle using modern development methodologies, including Agile and DevSecOps. Develop and maintain software solutions that integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation, to improve application functionality. Evaluate and implement tools, frameworks, and platforms to modernize application environments and improve performance. Assess systemrequirements, technical constraints, and integration needs to develop secure, interoperable, and maintainable application solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application development, integration, performance, security, or operational issues. Communicate technical information,requirements, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
