we're looking for a Senior Technical Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys tackling complex accounting challenges. In this role, you'll be a key contributor to our monthly close and financial reporting processes, applying technical accounting expertise to support business decisions, ensure compliance, and strengthen financial accuracy across the organization.

Location: Remote (PST Work Hours)
Compensation Range:$65,000–$95,000. Actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
What You'll Do
- Lead the preparation and review of complex journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including financial reporting requirements.
- Research accounting guidance and evaluate the treatment of non-routine transactions.
- Document technical accounting conclusions in accordance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.
- Review work prepared by team members, providing coaching and guidance to support quality and development.
- Assist with financial statement schedules, disclosures, and external reporting requirements.
- Partner with internal and external auditors and respond to accounting-related inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve documentation standards.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- 4–7 years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing and reviewing reconciliations, journal entries, and accounting analyses.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
