Senior Technical SEO
LendableAbout Lendable
Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 700 people
Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
Profitable since 2017
Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)
So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.
We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1
Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo
Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting
About the role
We’re entering a once-in-a-company moment: a major step-change in our D2C marketing investment, a full rebrand of the company and product under the Zable brand, and a marketing function being built out at pace under a newly-appointed CMO. This is one of the most exciting marketing builds in UK fintech right now, with the financial strength, customer base, and product depth to back it up.
We’re building out our SEO function for the first time and need a strong technical operator to make our sites the fastest, cleanest and most crawlable in UK fintech. We’re looking for a Senior Technical SEO to own technical SEO across Zable. Reporting to a Head of SEO we’re hiring in parallel, you’ll partner with engineering and product to ship the work that unlocks compounding organic growth, site architecture, performance, schema, indexation and AI search readiness.
This role goes beyond traditional technical SEO. Some of our biggest organic opportunities will come from building SEO-led product surfaces, calculators, comparison tools, interactive guides, and more ambitious full-stack products designed to capture high-volume search demand. You'll scope, ship and continuously improve those builds, bringing the SEO lens to every launch and helping us decide where the biggest organic bets are worth a product investment, not just a content one. In order to do this you will have strong technical and AI capabilities, enabling you to take a product from plan to brief to design and from build to launch with a high level of autonomy.
What we're looking for:
Essential:
4+ years in technical SEO, with hands-on ownership of audits, fixes and shipped impact
Strong understanding of site architecture, internal linking, crawl budget and indexation
Confident with performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed, JS rendering
Experienced with structured data and schema (especially product, financial, FAQ)
Comfortable with crawlers (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb), log file analysis and rendering tools
Experience building product with assistance from AI tools, SEO-led product launches or programmatic content systems
A nose for spotting search oppor
