Senior/Lead Engineer, Platform
AlloyAbout the team Alloy's engineering org is built around speed, ownership, and deep collaboration. Our Platform and Infrastructure/Site Reliability teams report into the same leadership, which ensure seamless cross-team collaboration. Platform engineers here don't just build APIs in isolation, they work hand-in-hand with SRE to think about how systems run, scale, and recover in production. It's a setup that rewards engineers who care about the full lifecycle of the software they ship.
The backend powers everything from fraud detection and transaction classification to data ingestion and third-party integrations. We are a high performing team where engineers have significant ownership over core systems. There’s no separate “architecture layer”—the people writing the code are the ones making the decisions.
We're a hybrid team based in Greenwich Village, NYC, and we're looking for someone local to the Greater NYC area who will attend the office Tuesdays through Thursdays.
