ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Shared Service Analyst to join our finance team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role spanning both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) across multiple group entities and currencies. You'll own core AP processing while also managing a meaningful AR workload — billing, collections, and receipt allocation - making this an ideal role for someone who wants exposure across the full transactional finance cycle in a fast-scaling, global business.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in a busy AP function, brings demonstrable AR experience, and is excited to help build and improve processes as we globalize.
As the Shared Service Analyst you’ll be performing:
Accounts Payable (core)
- Processing supplier invoices for various companies in our group, ensuring accurate coding, correct tax treatment, and identifying errors.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepancies before payment.
- Processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and reviewing supporting documentation.
- Resolving problems with vendors and reconciling vendor statements to our ledger.
Accounts Receivable (core)
- Raising and issuing customer invoices, allocating receipts, and monitoring aged debt.
- Following up on outstanding balances, supporting collections, and resolving customer billing queries promptly and professionally.
- Reconciling customer accounts and investigating unallocated or misapplied receipts.
Banking, reporting & continuous improvement
- Processing bank transactions in various currencies, ensuring accurate allocation of payments and receipts, and performing bank reconciliations.
- Preparing AP/AR ageing, cash, and other reports on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Maintaining the finance inboxes for different companies, ensuring all communications are processed properly and stakeholders are kept informed in a friendly and effective manner.
- Identifying opportunities for enhancements in AP and AR processes, contributing to the organization's continuous improvement efforts and operational efficiencies.
- Supporting the team with ad hoc tasks and requests from the line manager.
