You will conduct Weapon Control Systems system integration efforts, including but not limited to developing softwarerequirements and design, programming, integration, trouble shooting, and data analysis.You will provide leadership through mentoring, supporting the project software development processes and collaborating across all functional areas within the organization and among external stakeholdersYou will develop and write/code new (or modify existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs following software assurance best practices.You will analyze user needs and softwarerequirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.You will confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design application and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performancerequirements, and interfaces.You will correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results are produced.You will modify and maintain existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
