Software Engineer (Full Stack - C#/Azure/React)

Our client is the Leader in their field and have ambitious plans supported by strong business pipeline to double the revenue of their business by the end of 2028. To enable this, they are embarking on a bold and significant business transformation reviewing and improving operational processes across the Group and modernising their technology stack.

We are looking for a hands-on software engineer, a senior individual contributor where you’ll help modernise business critical systems, improve engineering standards, and deliver scalable, cloud first solutions.

You’ll work across both legacy and modern platforms, taking ownership of complex technical challenges end to end. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real world problems, takes pride in well-designed systems, and is motivated by improving platforms and practices for the long term.

You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in modernising critical platforms, influence engineering standards, and work alongside experienced engineers, architects and product teams, all while remaining hands on with the technology.

Essential skills:

• Full Stack Developer/Engineer - 50% front end/50%backend
• 5yrs+ .Net Developer (C#)
• Azure - the common components (service busses, functions, blob storage etc.)
• Typescript/JavaScript Library (React preferred)
• Rest API's
• Microservices architecture
• Entity Framework
• MVC
• SQL Server

Preferred:

• Working understanding of DevOps not expert (CI/CD Pipelines)
• Docker/Containerisation
• Legacy to Microservices
