About the team
The Cards team at Stripe is responsible for the infrastructure, user facing features, and business of accepting credit, debit, and pre-paid card payments. Delivering the best offering for processing credit, debit, and prepaid cards is critical to Stripe’s mission, given the central role card payments play in internet commerce.
What you’ll do
As a Staff Product Manager for Cards Monetization at Stripe, you’ll be responsible for pricing Card payment products worldwide. Everyday - You’ll balance the needs of our customers and competitive landscape, while helping Stripe maintain its margins.
At Stripe, Product Managers help build innovative payments products for our customers. Product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics, operations and customer-facing teams. You’d be joining a team of experienced Product Managers who have a track record of successfully building large-scale business and consumer products that are collectively impacting millions of users around the world.
This strategically critical role offers significant exposure to Stripe's leadership as you will drive initiatives to create observability into Stripe’s margins and revenue realization on Cards, define pricing principles and streamline pricing operations. Working with Sales teams, you’ll build out B2B pricing stack, ensuring we automate bundling and discounting decisions. Finally, you’ll work backwards from merchants to define and deliver new pricing models that meet the needs of their growing businesses.
This is a highly cross-functional role - On a day to day basis, you will spend your time between meeting customers (both internal and external), and working with your engineering, operations, analytics, network partnership, pricing, finance and GTM counterparts. You will use the voice of the customers, go deep into data, and leverage ML/GenAI as you define pricing strategies and build margin and revenue monitoring and alerting systems.
