It is approximately 30 miles from Canada, with the Great Lakes to the west, Adirondack Mountains to the east, and St. Lawrence River and Thousand Islands in between.Assigned to a large installation, the incumbent serves as the Director, Directorate of Public Works.Directs the work of an organization that is responsible for compliance with all applicable environmental, natural, cultural, and archaeological federal, state and local laws.Administers the base support contract for engineering, housing and logistical activities.Manages and controls the programs and operations through more than two lines of supervision.
