It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/ Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/PACIFIC.Maintains and operates the Regional Network Operations and Security Center (RNOSC) supporting USINDOPACOM capabilities/services.Directs network assurance capabilities in support of United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) directives and missions, ensuring continuous defense in depth of the DoDIN.Secures, operates and defends the DoDIN supporting Combatant Commanders, Military Departments Operation Centers, DoD and non-DoD Agencies, Joint Staff, and Allies and Partners.Provides conceptual and technical guidance and advice on complex technical and operational matters related to the Division’s functions andresponsibilities.Directs and oversees the activities of over 100 civilian, military, and contract personnel engaged in operational support for defensive cyber operations, communication networks, and information systems.
