
Tax Analyst - Multinational Group - Goodman Masson
eFinancialCareersOur client is a dynamic, fast-growing international group with a multi-site operating structure.
This is a great opportunity for a part-qualified tax professional to build a broad in-house skillset, working closely with the UK Tax Manager and gaining exposure to a wide range of compliance and reporting activity as the function scales.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Support the Tax Manager in the following areas:
• Assist with UK corporation tax computations and filings
• Handle incoming HMRC post and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Respond to HMRC telephone queries on behalf of the business
• Support the growing withholding tax compliance workload
• Help embed and maintain a new tax compliance software system used for return preparation and filing
• Support the Tax Manager on more complex filings for the group's larger UK entities as needed
• Contribute to improving documentation and compliance processes as these are formalised
Requirements for the Role
Qualifications / Education
• Part-qualified in a recognised tax or accounting qualification (e.g. ATT, CTA or ACA)
• Study support provided for ongoing qualification
Experience
• Some prior experience in a UK tax compliance environment (in-house or practice) is desirable
• Exposure to corporation tax compliance or filings is beneficial but not essential
