Transportation Security AdministrationThis position is located within the TSA, LE, Security & Operations Management office. The Security Division is responsible for providing the physical security of TSA facilities, determining employee suitability/adjudicating security clearances, safeguarding SSI, implementing security policy, and providing security training to the workforce. It also provides for a safe and secure work environment for employees and visitors at TSA facilities through Field Support and Technical Security Units.This Transportation Security Specialist - Law Enforcement position is located Law Enforcement, Security and Operations Management office., Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS).Duties include but are not limited to: Provide safe and secure vehicle transportation to the assigned person, including receiving and/or preparing appropriate documentation for the transportation of and/or pick-up of the senior leadership, completing route planning/reconnaissance, and mobile security. Responsible for the physical protection of facilities, personnel, classified information, and/or other sensitive materials, resources, or processes. Performs the full range of investigative functions on assigned cases, from planning through fact-finding to reporting the results of investigations. Ensures the proper handling and disposition of sensitive information in accordance with DHS guidelines
