You will be the Strategic Systems Programs on-site engineering lead responsible for the conduct of the formal test program certifying Strategic Weapon(s) System component installations and sub-system performance at Quonset Point, Rhode Island.You will interface daily with the Prime Contractors responsible for manufacturing, installing, and testing the Strategic Weapon(s) System with the U.S Construction shipyard for the COLUMBIA Class submarines.You will ensure satisfactory system performance and to resolve any technical issues that arise during the conduct of the test program.You will coordinate with applicable Strategic Systems Programs Technical Branch and their Design Agents personnel to ensure effective, smooth, and efficient installation and testing of Strategic Weapon(s) System components and sub-systems.You will effectively manage the resolution of technical/engineering problems encountered during Strategic Weapon(s) System installation and test.You will develop engineering documentation as necessary in support of technical or program decisions for the COLUMBIA Class submarine program as it pertains to the Strategic Weapon(s) System.
